  Michael and Angelique had seven children.

 Only three sons survived to adulthood.

Most of us Legers can trace our line back to these three men.

Four daughters perished during their 27 year deportation travails, before the family made it to Louisiana

The following recently discovered ancient records  give some insite into their life.

 Michel Prosper arrived in Louisiana Before July 1785 

He married Marguerite Boutin and they raised 10 children

 Louis arrived on the ship, Le Bon Papa,  July 1785 with his widowed Mother, Angelique Pinet.

He married Marie Anna Doucet and they raised 14 children 

 Jean Baptiste arrived on the ship, Le Bon Papa, July 1785 with his widowed Mother, Angelique Pinet.

He married Marie Euphemie Savoie and they raised 11 children
