Jean dit Richelieu Leger settled in Quebec. He was Quartermaster in Military. Michel dit Richelieu Leger was born here.
Notre Dame des Victories, Construction began in 1687.
Jean dit Richelieu married Margureite Marchand here in 1726.
Michel may have been baptised here as well.

Angelique Pinet was baptized here, Married Michel dit Richelieu Leger here, Bore Michel Prosper here, and was deported from here.
Local Indigenous People called it "Acadie" meaning "Beautiful Land"
or "Land of Plenty"
Once England gained control,
it became Nova Scotia
and French Acadiens were replaced with Scotish settlers.

The assumption is that she was M'kmaq.

Michel dit Richelieu, wife, Angelique Pinet and son Michel Prosper made their way back to Canada sometime before 1765. They settled on Isle Miquelon, an island off of Newfoundland. This was near their home of Fort Louisbourg.
Secone son, Louis was born on Miquelon in 1765. They were deported again in 1767 back to France.
During their 27 year travail, they lost four infant daughters, and Michel was also lost, leaving Angelique a Widow with three sons to make her way to Louisiana in 1785.
